Rondé the rapper, BaccseatBilly the Producer

Rondé (born Omar Rondé Crowder) is an artist/producer hailing from Lynwood, CA. He picked up music at an early age, due to a lot of his family being musically inclined. When in the 5th grade, Rondé got his first pair of drum sticks from his grandfather (Bob Crowder of ‘The Hardy Boys’ band) and the show had just begun. He went on to develop his musical and artistic interests, taking a liking to Alternative, Metal, and Punk Rock, along with some Pop, Oldies, Hip-Hop, & RNB. By his freshman year of high school, Rondé had begun freestyling with his peers and classmates and had made a small reputation for his abilities. He began writing rap lyrics around age 14, taking from his experience of creative writing and comic book creating he did as a kid. In 2017 at age 18, Rondé (then RondéFrom310) independently released his first mixtape, titled ‘Purple Friday’. It was a very raw, lo-fi project with only 4 songs. This is around the same time Rondé had just birthed his beat-maker alter-ego BaccseatBilly. Rondé then spent March 2018 - March 2019 performing a list of unreleased tracks, along with his single ‘Favorite Color’, a re-envisioning of Jaden Smith’s ‘NINETY’. Rondé released a beat tape under the BaccseatBilly moniker in January of 2019. He then went on to release his next project, the self-titled ‘RondéFrom310’, sometime in the summer of 2019. He then dropped the nickname RondéFrom310 and began releasing content as simply Rondé. He then dropped another Baccseat Billy beat tape titled ‘2’ in January of 2020. This was followed by the Rondé single ‘Yo Dance’ released in October 2020, featuring frequent collaborator MAJIC. Rondé then released another single, titled ‘E.N.D.’, released in July of 2021. He then released yet another beat tape titled ‘BaccseatBilly beats’ exclusively on Soundcloud. This tape and two prior singles were all leading up to Rondé’s debut album ‘Nothing Personal’, which dropped November 25th, 2021. “I find life to be a teacher. I spent a lot of time not knowing that I was still a student. Not to say that I am enrolled in any institution, but I am enrolled in the school of life. It will always be more to find and there will always be a deeper depth to dive to. The best thing to do, in my opinion, is to just live it. Experience it. Accept it. Because no matter how hard or frustrating it gets, you’ll make it through. Just like you always have.”

“Nothing Personal” Is available on all major streaming platforms now.
